Presenting this webinar are Christina Ruiz and Sneha Swaminathan of Holligsworth & Vose. Christina Ruiz is a Technology Scout for the R&D group at Hollingsworth & Vose. After working in the mineral processing industry with roles ranging from product and process development to quality management, Christina joined H&V’s Advanced Fiber Nonwovens Group as an R&D Scientist, developing new products on multiple nonwoven processing platforms. From there, she moved into the role of Technology Scout, where her focus is to seek out and source technologies enabling new products and processes to realize business opportunities across the company. As part of this role, she has taken on the management of patent filings and knowledge maintenance for the company. Christina brings 16 years of experience and holds a BS in Biology, BA in Chemistry, MS in Technical Management, and an MBA. Christina is also an active member of TAPPI’s NET Division Council and Filtration Committee. Sneha Swaminathan is a Scientist at Hollingsworth and Vose. Sneha works in the liquid filtration division primarily fuel and hydraulic filtration. She received her PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Akron, USA. Her areas of expertise include nonwovens, filtration and separation, catalysis, and electrospinning. She is an active member of TAPPI’s NET Division Council and Filtration Committee, the Society of Automobile Engineers and National Fluid Power Association technical standard committees.
