Chris Sharpe earned his degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech and began his career in the defoamer industry in 1994. He started in the applications laboratory and transitioned to full-time field support in 1998. He currently works for ESP Foam Control where his market concentrations span nonwovens, graphic arts, wastewater, adhesives, emulsion polymer, construction chemicals, and food processing. He is an active member of TAPPIs NET (Nonwovens Engineers & Technologists) Division and has presented on a variety of topics at multiple conferences.
