The Women In Industry Division is excited to announce Heather Wishart-Smith from Jacobs as the 2021 Women’s Summit Keynote speaker!

Wishart-Smith Heather_headshot.jpgHeather Wishart-Smith is the Senior Vice President, Technology & Innovation for Jacobs. An integrator of digital disruption and innovation, Ms. Wishart-Smith is a registered Professional Engineer and certified Project Management Professional with proven experience managing large design programs and developing, managing, and turning around troubled offices in the architectural/engineering professional services market. A former Navy Civil Engineer Corps officer, Ms. Wishart-Smith served at the Presidential Retreat, Camp David under two presidential administrations, among other duty stations. Ms. Wishart-Smith holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia. She is a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and also a Fellow of Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and its President for the 2020-2021 centennial year.

The Women in Industry Division’s Woman of the Year award recognizes women who have demonstrated excellence in leading, motivating, and developing others within the pulp, paper, tissue, packaging and related industries. During the meeting each of the WIN committees will update the membership and guests on activities from the past year, and lay out their plans for the next. Whether you are a current member of the WIN Division, or interested in joining, the Annual Meeting will give you details on what has been happening over the past year and what the committees are planning for the next year.

We’re using the same Zoom link for both the WIN Annual Meeting and the Women’s Summit. If you’ve registered, you’ll receive your link via email. If you haven’t registered, there’s still time.

The TAPPI Women in Industry Division was proud to hold the 3rd Annual Women's Summit  in June 2020, hosted for the first time exclusively through a virtual setting. This event addressed key topics integral to women today and was open to all participants.

The Women's Summit featured a Keynote presentation, produced by the International Women’s Think Tank  followed by a breakout session. 

After the event, registrants received an eBook with curated content from the Keynote and breakout sessions.
